Players Wanted
Teams For Players Without Teams
FE HOOPS will be forming teams at the 7th Grade, 8th Grade JV and Varsity levels for both boys and girls to compete in the Island Garden Fall League which begins in mid-September. These teams are designed for players who want to play in a league but do not have a team. There will be a 10 game schedule, practices and AAU membership. Each team will be led by an experienced, paid coach. All interested should call Jim Fox at 516-351-6642. Tryouts will be held during the first week of Sptember.
MORE TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED FOR TEAMS FORMING FOR THE FALL LEAGUE
Players who are interested in finding a team during the Fall and Winter seasons will have an opportunity to tryout next week. All tryouts will be held at Island Garden. All grade levels are determined by the grade as of 9/14/09.
FE HOOPS BOYS VARSITY will hold tryouts on Friday, September 11 at 7:00 PM. There will be 10 slots available.
Lightning 5th Grade Boys teams will be holding a tryout on Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 PM. There will be three Lightning coaches present looking to select players to fill out their teams. There also will be an FE Hoops coach who likewise will be selecting players to form a completely new team. Overall, there will be spots for as many as 20 players to be selected from this tryout.
FE HOOPS will be holding tryouts for a 7th Grade Boys team on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 PM. This will be a new team and will have 10 spots available.
